Michael moved to the Southern Oregon Coast at the age of 8 and has been here ever since. Our very own ‘local boy’ doesn’t need much of an introduction! He’s been playing music in Coos County, and all over Oregon, for close to 50 years. Michael has been a part of many local legends such as:
- Elkhorn Express
- The Bigfoot Blues Band
- Charlie Freak
But that’s not all. He’s also played with some ‘not so local’ legends you may recognize:
- Chuck Berry
- Bo Diddley
- The Drifters
- Buddy Guy (just to name a few!)
Michael is now retired and playing music full time. If you ask him what he loves about playing with Rockipedia he would say “the challenge of their high energy set list keeps it fun and exciting. Driving a dance floor is my favorite thing to do. I’m really excited about the growth spurt in popularity Rockipedia is experiencing!”
